This view shows many of the cottages that my grandfather built as well as several newer houses that have been built in the area. Cottage #1 is behind the trees on the right of the photograph along the shoreline. Cottage #3 is the left most cottage in the middle third of the photograph. This picture was taken in early fall. The small dock and the raft are no longer in the water. The beach next to the large dock is the sandy beach available for use by our guests. It is a short walk from either cottage.

This cottage looks out over the lake at water level. It was the first cottage built by my grandfather Ovila Campbell, some 40 years ago, after he retired from dairy farming. My grandmother rented it for about a decade and my parents have rented this cottage for over 30 years. It is a clean and modern cottage that has been well kept through the years. My wife and I are continuing to rent it to families that want to spend time on a northern Vermont lake in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Come join us for a Northern Vermont summer!

This cottage sits on the bluff that looks out over the lake. The view is extraordinary as you look up into Canada, see the islands, the City of Newport and the Green Mountains in the distance. It was the third cottage built by my grandfather Ovila Campbell, some 40 years ago, after he retired from dairy farming. He built it for him and his wife. My grandmother lived in it each summer for many years as she rented other cottages built by her husband. Today, of the 12+ cottages built by my grandfather, only two can be rented as summer cottages. The remainder have been converted into year round residences or are no longer rented. My parents have rented this cottage for over 30 years. It is a clean and modern cottage that has been well kept through the years. My wife and I are continuing to rent it to families that want to spend time on a northern Vermont lake in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Come join us!
Beach and Dock AreaThe beach is sandy and private and available for your use. The neighbors are friendly and many folks come back year after year. There is a raft for swimming in the summer and a smaller dock for your boat. A public boat access is located 1.5 miles up the road for launching and loading of boats. The water gets deep gradually and is an excellent place to bring small children to swim. I grew up swimming in this location, as have my nieces, nephews, sons and daughter and our many friends and campers. You can sit on the beach and read a book, enjoy the view, catch a few rays of sun and visit. Come and enjoy summer in Northern Vermont with us. |
